When you are all about sun sensible fashion like me, it can be difficult to choose what to wear for a casual walk around town. Even though I am all about covering up, that is not an excuse to slay by all means.

I wore a Batu Tara straw hat from Filu Hats. This paper straw hat was handcrafted by master artisans in Italy, and complemented the soft cream hue of my dress. It has a dark brown ombré grosgrain band and a concealed wire along the brim for structure. This hat is effortlessly classically chic. It is perfect for sunny days, protecting me from the sun’s rays.
I also wore Miu Miu runway sunglasses and embellished suede platform wedge sandals. The sunglasses have a curvy medium tortoiseshell frame front which is embellished with stones and shiny mounted elements. They really are to die for. The golden color of the stones and shiny mounted elements complements the soft cream hue of the dress.
I love this oversized Michael Kors natural straw tote because I can carry it throughout the spring months and right into summer. It also instantly gives me a channel laid- back chic look.
As usual, I remembered to cover myself in sun block. Even though I am mostly covered up, you can never be too safe.
